陈国跃,博士,教授,博士生导师自“十一五”以来,聚焦我国小麦地方种质抗条锈病优异种质评价和鉴定、抗性基因/位点/区段发掘及其育种利用研究。依托“十一五”、“十二五”国家科技支撑计划、“十三五”国家重点研发计划及四川省麦类育种攻关等项目,通过在室内和田间条锈菌诱导环境下对来自中国不同麦区的近1200余份小麦地方种质进行了条锈病抗性表型精准鉴定,筛选出一批具有条锈病稳定抗性的优异地方种质;结合小麦高通量芯片技术,发掘了包括YrHYYrYLQYr.GTM-5DLQYr.AYH-5BL等在内的一批重要的条锈病抗性新基因/位点/区段;利用常规育种技术并结合分子标记辅助选择及多基因聚合技术,创制了一批遗传背景清晰、抗条锈病基因明确、综合性状优良且高抗条锈病小麦新种质。近年来围绕中国小麦优异地方种质条锈病抗性鉴定、评价、新基因发掘及育种利用等研究已在《Plant Disease》、《Phytopathology》、《The Crop Journal》、《Frontiers in Plant Science》、《BMC Plant Biology》、《BMC Genomics》、《BMC Genetics》、《Plant Science》、《Journal of Heredity》、《Crop Protection》、《作物学报》、《中国农业科学》、《植物保护学报》等国内外知名杂志发表近40篇论文;获得涉及条锈病抗性新基因及其育种利用授权国家发明专利3项;小麦条锈病抗性基因源的发掘与育种利用作为“小麦重要育种目标性状基因的鉴定与利用”及“小麦近缘资源发掘及种质创新与利用”成果的重要组成部分,分别获得2011和2016年度四川省科技进步一等奖;主研选育小麦品种20余个;主编出版专著1部;指导研究生获校级优秀博士学位论文1篇、优秀硕士学位论文2篇。
